Elk Steak with Bearnaise Sauce

This is a simple recipe that does not take a lot of time. Grill the elk steak your favorite way with your favorite seasonings. One of my favorite seasonings is Montreal Steak seasoning. Have prepaired and ready to go the following:

One large onion cut into one to two inch pieces.

Two tablespoons of garlic.

Two 4 oz cans of sliced mushrooms or substitute slice fresh mushrooms

One packet of Bearnaise sauce mix. ( you can find it in the sauce mix section of any grocery.)

Put steaks on the grill and then start the onions to get them carmelized in butter. Add the garlic when the pan gets hot, add the mushrooms and saute until done. Put the steaks on your plate and cover with onions and mushrooms. Top it all off with the Bearnaise Sauce and salt and pepper to taste. This will go great with potatoes or a vegetable.
