You should have the best fishing results during the low slack, high slack, and hour before to two and hour after the tide change or during the outgoing ebb tide especially during early morning and late evening hours. Kings will hole up during the end up in slack periods to feed and rest. They will begin moving north again once the flood tides begin.

There are to tide rip lines which form off Lawrence Point depending upon the tide. During ebb tide the rip runs from the tip of the point south east for about 2 miles offers good opportunities for trolling and mooching . During the flood the rip form’s to the northeast Lawrence Point.
